College Football Bowl Game Renamed ‘LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk’

The Los Angeles Bowl has been dubbed the “LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk” after SoFi and Gronkowski signed into a multi-year arrangement, SoFi Stadium, the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, said on Saturday. The bowl game, which pits the top Mountain West team against the fifth-selected Pac-12 team, was formerly known as the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.

In 2008, Gronkowski participated in the Arizona Wildcats game against BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl, now known as the LA Bowl.

After 11 seasons in the NFL, he announced his second retirement at the end of the 2021 campaign.
